Live Second Life Gig – video

Just found this video that someone made of one of our Second Life gigs and posted on YouTube:

Make sure you hit the ‘HQ’ button to see it in better quality.
The Second Life grid was kind of crashy that night and logging people out all over the place, so it’s a shame there aren’t that many [...]

Virtual Worlds Conference Video Streaming

During a recent Second Life / Real Life conference in London last month we played a video gig at the Blarney Stone in Virtual Dublin, which was broadcast on a big screen in the Bedford Pub in real-life London as a demonstration of the technological developments in virtual music at the conference ‘icebreaker’ event.

The Ustream interface includes an interactive text chat feature. We’ve embedded the whole lot – video and chat – onto [...]

In fact SL has been so much better for us that we’ve stopped taking the crappier gigs in RL, [...]

We have a Subscribe-o-Matic

For our Second Life friends and fans.
We recently got a Subscribe-o-Matic list management system.
This allows us to send messages and inventory items to our fans inworld without requiring them to join the fan group.
This is great for those fans who have too many groups and cannot join another.

Why Would You Want to Host a House Concert?

Well…

You know everyone else in the audience, you don’t have to drive home afterwards and, perhaps most importantly, you hear the artist in an intimate [...]
